No Pain, No Gain!

So it seems the common denominator for us all is motivation. I know I've had a lack of it since R was born 5 months ago and I need to get it back!

For me, my motivation is vanity. So what? I'm vain, sue me!!! I look back at the cute little 17 year old girl I used to be and think "OMG what happened to me?!"

I want to be able to wear a tank top again. I want to be able to wear shorts or a skirt without my thighs getting chaffed from rubbing together!
I WILL get this back! The 30 Day Shred is just the beginning. I know it's going to be a very hard, painful month, but it's all going to be worth it in the end! By the time I'm done, my partner will be proud to have me on his arm and I will be proud to be called a "MILF" :)

So, what's YOUR motivation? I encourage everyone to find a picture of whatever it is that is going to be your "focus" for this journey. Put that picture someplace you will see it every day. Hey... I'm putting mine on the fridge so maybe I'll reach for the carrots instead of the tiramisu!

My motivation is my health! I want to get rid of PCOS once and for all so that we can hopefully try for that son in the future!!!

My motivation is 70% vanity and 30% health. I hate having a muffin top and a double chin. My husband works out a lot and looks amazing, I want to be able to feel good about myself. I went from 120 lb in HS, to 150's in college, now I weight close to 175 lb 4 months after having my baby. I'm ready to be a normal weight again.

We will be starting our Shred on January 3rd, 2010. This is the first Sunday of the new year. It's always nice to start on a fresh week plus this date will allow everyone time to get their videos and weights!
